VEMOS® AIR

Airborne Detection Technology

Features

  • Pulsed Induction System

  • Small-Object Suppression

  • Foldable Design for Easy Transport

  • Data Recording According to IMSMA Standard

General

VEMOS® AIR is designed for airborne detection of metallic objects below the surface. The system has been developed for autonomous operation on UAV/AV platforms and enables fully automated detection missions for geophysical, industrial, and humanitarian applications. Typical use cases include UXO detection, surveying, geophysical investigations, and technical surveys.

Pulse Induction Detection from the Air

As an advancement of EBINGER’s established pulse induction technology, VEMOS® AIR combines reliable detection with modern sensor architecture. Its compact and lightweight design facilitates integration into a wide range of UAV systems. Adjustable measurement timing allows the suppression of unwanted metallic debris, enabling the detection to focus on relevant, deeper and larger objects.

Autonomous and efficient

The airborne platform enables large areas to be surveyed faster, safer, and more cost-efficiently. The georeferenced data allows a temporal separation between detection and recovery. The evaluation can be carried out afterwards by qualified authorities, significantly improving UXO clearance processes.

Digital data acquisition

VEMOS® AIR supports digital data acquisition via data output for the EBINGER EPAD® TAB system. The data logger securely records all measurements for subsequent processing and georeferenced mapping. The data sets meet modern GIS requirements and support IMSMA (Information Management System for Mine Action).

Additional software is used for mission planning, flight control and the georeferenced visualization of the collected data. This enables precise mapping and efficient evaluation of the measurement results.
